Who this covers

This policy covers both Kim's Beauty branches — Kim's Beauty Garden (Baroda Building, Digo Road, opposite A-One Supermarket, Mombasa) and Kim's Beauty VIP (Coast Building, near Splendid House, Msanifu Kombo Road, Mombasa) — operated as one business. It's written to meet Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019.

What we collect

We collect anonymous website analytics (pages viewed, general location by city, device type) through Google Analytics. We do not collect personal data through the website itself — there are no sign-up or booking forms. If you message us on WhatsApp or by phone to book or ask a question, that conversation is handled under WhatsApp's own privacy terms, and we keep it only for as long as needed to serve you. The booking helper on the Book page only builds your WhatsApp message inside your own browser — nothing you pick or type there (including the optional name) reaches us until you press send in WhatsApp.

Why we collect it

Website analytics help us understand which pages and services people are interested in, so we can keep the site useful. We do not sell or share this data.

Where data goes

Google Analytics is provided by Google, which may process data outside Kenya. Google applies its own recognised safeguards for this kind of transfer. We don't separately transfer any personal data abroad ourselves.

Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act, you can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to processing. Since we don't collect personal data through the site directly, this mainly applies to anything shared with us over WhatsApp, phone, or email — contact either branch directly to make a request.
